There are saints coming each each week.

Our adoption fee is $400.00 All of our dogs are sterilized, up to date on vaccines, heartworm and parasite tested and treated, and micro-chipped for identification.

Illinois Saint Bernard Rescue is looking for temporary, loving foster homes for homeless Saints in the all around IL and IN . If interested, please contact Emily Jones at 217-825-5243.

Judith: Do you love the Newfy breed but don’t feel you have room for the size. Meet this 18-24 month old Judith. Who landed in rescue from an Amish Breeder. This shy sweet girl is making leaps and bounds with learning to be a real dog. She will require companionship of another dog or two in the home. She is about 98% house trained , but crated when fosters are not around. If you think this little girl is the one for you please feel out an application online. Her adoption fee is $600. She weighs in about 65-70lbs current. She is very petite but has the beautiful hair coat of a Newfy. 11/4/2019

Bruno: Is he chocolate? Is he black? He’s more of a Smokey black color with some white and fun spots that could classify him as a Landseer Newfy. Bruno is 7 years old. He has house manners and his foster dad says he is an excellent house guest. He is great with essentially everyone and everything. He will require another companion dog to help him feel more secure when he goes to his forever home. Bruno came from an Amish breeder who used him as a stud dog. When they were done with him thankfully they reached out to send him somewhere safe so he could live the life a dog should live. His adoption fee is $500. He would make a lovely addition to any home. Sweet Josiah: (Jo-si Ah) is a 7 year old Amish breeder dog turned over to rescue. We have vaccinated, neutered and started him on preventatives. He is great with other dogs, cats. Loves everyone he meets and just wants a home of his own. He is truly an amazing boy for the life he has lived prior to Illinois Saint Bernard Rescue. Ted: Sadly Ted found himself in rescue after a nasty divorce and no where for him to go. His mama was heartbroken but reached out to us to take him and find him a forever home. Ted is up to date on vaccines and is on the smaller side for a Saint. If you want the look, personality and breed this could be your boy. He weighs in at 85-90 lbs. If you’d like to make Ted a family member please fill out an application online. His adoption fee is $550. Ted foster mom says he is the sweetest. His groomer said that he was fantastic for everything they did including his nails. Good boy Ted! 11/4/2019

Allie: This sweet 18 month old landed herself in Rescue after a kind Samaritan who was supposed to be dog sitting her realize the horrible conditions she was living in. But Allie shows no residual from the horrible life she had. This girl is dog friendly loves everyone she meets, and housetrained. She will make a wonderful addition to any family. Ziva: and Zilla: are bonded sisters. We would love to find them a home together but it’s not mandatory. These girls will be four years old this December. They were breeder dogs who’s owner came down with a terminal sickness. He relinquished the dogs he had in his possession. These girls have acclimated to a house life well. They are still scared and timid at times so will require patiences and kindness to help them come out of their shells. They are good with other dogs, crate trained and working on house training. They truly love people but just don’t know how to be the best saintly girls. Both sisters are smaller side 85-100 lbs each. Adoption fee is $400 each. They have been spayed , microchipped, vaccinated and started in preventatives. 10/5/2019

Clarice: just came in today 8/28/19. She was a stray who showed up at a dog friendly home. They look for her owner and contacted the local animal control but no one showed up to claim her. ISBR was asked to step up and take her and we did. She appears to be house trained and is working on her crate training. She is OK with other dogs but will lead a dog that is submissive or wants to play with her. She is UTD on vaccines and will be spayed in the next week. She isn’t quite ready to go but will be after 9/28/19. Adoption fee is $400. 9/3/2019
